The Movement for SBAE is committed to working with local and international partners to scale-up the evidence-based SBAE model to reach more than 300,000 young people across Sub-Saharan Africa, and beyond, by 2030.
Our mission is to use the power of research, advocacy and partnerships to expand school-based agricultural education (SBAE) programs across sub-Saharan Africa that are proven to keep youth in schools, increase food security, and transform communities.
To do this, the Movement has four core objectives:
1. Build Evidence
We collaborate with researchers to generate robust evidence, enhancing SBAE programs and research investments.
2. Transform Policy
We mobilize local and global partners to integrate SBAE into development priorities and national policy.
